Collateral Security

At Construction Guarantee we never look for collateral security before issuing a bond.

Some bondsmen issue bonds on the basis of the Contractor depositing cash security or other collateral for the full duration of the bond.

We believe that the assets of the contractor should be left to support their
businesses.

It makes no sense to us to tie up the assets of a business thereby destabilising it and potentially bringing about the very situation the bond was put in place to protect against.

Collateral Security for Bonds is bad for business - both for the contractor and the bondsman.
