• High Value Household – our 606 policy, which suits people with contents sum insured of over €150,000, cover possessions anywhere in the world, with accidental loss and damage included as standard (as against most standard policies, which only cover possessions in the home, and against named perils - storm, theft, etc); can include high value items of fine art, antiques and jewellery, and offers wider cover than the norm in all areas.

• Professional Insurance Package - we offer a range of commercial insurances for office based professionals - we cover the full range of small to medium sized enterprises, from the self-employed contractor to companies with multiple locations and hundreds of employees. You can pick and mix from our Professional Insurance Portfolio (PIP), 12 office and liability related insurances, to build a business protection policy that precisely meets your needs. Our specialist team dedicated to these industries has extensive experience and understanding of the changing nature of these businesses and of assessing the actual and potential risks involved.

Hiscox purchased Dublin-based Construction & General Guarantee Insurance Company in 2001. Construction Guarantee is a specialist bond underwriter providing performance bonds for small-to-medium sized building contractors and sub-contractors.
